The Memorials

I'm going to see these guys later,(The Memorials), and I'm going to try out my recorder on them. I don't know much about them but they are playing a few blocks from me and I won tickets on the radio.

I listen to the college radio station. It's pretty easy to win tickets if you imagine how long after they tell you to call in it takes them to start the next record and then go to reach for the phone.

I could go out 5 nights a week on free tickets if I didn't have to put the kids to bed. once i get them asleep usually i want to chill out and watch a movie or something. Usually i call in only if the venue is really close to me or if i haven't been there before.

If there is a show near one of my friend's houses, then i'll call in and use their name. I won tickets for Snoop Dog a few months ago.

One of the opening bands was better...this one...Punk Funk Mob.

They sound amazing - what a brilliant band! Her voice is excellent - it's just a shame they haven't learned about leveling yet! The rest of the band should always quiet down when someone is soloing and definitely think about not overpowering the vocals. Overall though, great group.

Her tattoo is weird!!

I really like Punk Funk Mob, too. An epic song. What a strange music video though.
