Animals As Leaders - what do you think of them?

I don't know how I feel about them, but Jazz metal with some techno is really some all put together.

I like it and at the same time i can't put my finger on why I don't at the same time... i feel they don't have and idea, emotion, or concept grounding them to something. maybe I'm wrong, and I know it progressive so its going to change ALOT as the song goes on but still feels like they are just getting carried away in a jam fest. Still cool, just feels like a part of of the picture is missing.

Boring. Stuff around 2 min in first vid is quite interesting but... still... no vibe for me. Boring.

very post metal sound. post metal has always been hit and miss for me. I like the ideas and technique in their music like the sweet 8 string sweeps and the tapping but, like dragon force, I cant listen to to much of it because it sounds the same. Like Empirism said there is no vibe.
