How to write tabs on the computer

So I am a complete newbie and I wanted to submit a lick on here just for fun. How do you write tabs on the computer? I guess there is a specific program or something, right? Any suggestions?

i dont think he means how to insert them, i think he means how to make them. like this whole thing

some people use guitar pro and then take screenshots of it, but usually we just put the tabs into one of these.

That is the messy way to do it and you'll be lucky if your tabs come out right.
