Okay well, I've been playing guitar for about one month now.
I play acoustic.
and I was just wondering if maybe some of you guys could help me out with a little bit if technique.
I have trouble barring and then stretching to play chords (B major for example)
and wel, I have trouble doing some stretches all together
I was wondering, is there anything I can do too, idk make my fingers more flexible, or make it easier to stretch ?
I also have a litle bit of trouble with chord Progression.
any tips for that aswell ? |

yeah it is just to get your fingers rolling even if you hated the Beatles(why some one would i don't know but whatever whatever) I'd still tell you to learn "I'm a loser" just would tell you to think of it as training |

i wouldn't know (i do it by ear know/fake books) but i would assume so. i used to use 911 tabs cause it gave a bunch of different websites so if one was not to my like i would move on. I'd tab it for you but I'm horrible at typing, spelling and such it would take me days(sad part it's not really a joke) so i hope you understand but some one here might be willing to lots are very friendly and very tech savvy.
and yeah i have a bad habit of typing out of place things just bare with me |

I know what you mean.
I don't take lessons either, I use tabs,
and for drums I play by ear.
I can learn the names of chords, but I can NOT learn sheet music.
I had a head injury about a year ago, idk if that's it
actually, I couldn't do it before that
.. but shh, don't tell anyone xD |

my advice to you is practice everyday for an hour (or longer if you can) play the chords that hurt your hands the most, play them over and over again, find song with them in and play them some more, then just for good measure play em again. it really is the only way to get the stretchy fingers you so desire. Iv been playing for roughly 5 years and i still find chords that my fingers really don't like (so i make up songs with specifically those chords in them)
my advice for building up your bar chord strength is to play the F bar chord lots if you can get the first fret barred so the notes all sound crisp then all the other bar chords are easy in comparison
hope this helps |

Carlsnow, don't worry about haters,
I've read some other things you've posted to other people, and you seriously sound like you know you're stuff.
and thanks Harleyofdoom |
