I would really like to get one too. I'm not much help since those listed are not in English. Had a chance to get a fender dobro for $150 used but I was so broke at the time. They retail for around $500.
Be careful, some are round necks and some are square necks.
As for your lack of enthusiasm...I've decided to re-work through a book that really helped improve my playing a long time ago. Blues you can Use. I didn't even like the blues when i got this books, but do now. I was in the same boat, and found it to be helpful with a regular practice routine. |

Lack of enthusiasm.............
I think we need to call the Inspiration Ambulance!
You know I haven't had lack of enthusiasm since like a year ago.
I know one wave is coming soon though.
Immerse yourself in what you really love(no Mary-J) try joining any musical group that needs guitar if you think you've got what it takes. Try to learn other musical styles. It could only help you.
You're at an age where many teens feel lack of enthusiasm. That's NORMAL no matter what your parents say. You are talking to the master of teenage indifference.
I scared my schoolmates and teachers with how much I didn't care especially since I was pretty much living as a bum. I am and always will be horrible at being in relationships of any kind. I have too much on my mind to be tied to someone.
Man I spent one whole summer doing nothing except play video games until I took it upon myself to travel all the way to Seattle by myself on the Greyhound at 14 years old(that was one weird experience) and it left me inspired to do a lot of things. Traveling is my passion it rivals music.
Nothing ever got me through a bad mental state as well as myself. Find something to keep you interested for a while and by the time you become bored of it you may have found something else to do. |

As for the Dobro. Those are OK prices except in Mexico.
en Mexico siempre va a salirte mas caro por los impuestos de importacion y por que son mas dificil de encontrar.
If a seller doesen't charge more than $40 for shipping that's good.
But remember that if you really search Ebay or the internet you could find some good deals. I looked for 3 months until I found a guitar that I wanted in my price range.
One could usually find guitars for $50 to $100 o 130M.N less than normal price on Ebay. |
