Me two. I've always loved what a Floyd Rose can do and the ML shape itself. Plus its what Dimebag played and he is to me what Randy Rhoads is to Elliott.

i think the rails are cheaper models like emg-hz or dimarzio-ibanez but theyre still humbuckers so theyll be decent

I work in a guitar store, we are a Dean dealer. I play deans like this one every day. I tune them, I polish them, I make truss rod adjustments, action adjustments, string changes. In other words, I'm extremely familiar with Deans, we also carry this particular model you speak of. And I say this with all due respect to you, your opinion, and your pocketbook.

Not worth the money. Not even in the ballpark. Keep saving your money and get a mid to upper level ESP, Schecter, Ibanez, or Epiphone. If you really like the Dean look and style, but want a quality guitar, check out DBZ guitars. They are a new company started by Dean Zalinksy, who started Dean guitars.

if you like that shape you may like Roopes Latvala's or Gus G's signature ESP guitars

@ Matt - Oh yeah! I forgot about that. It was on the Dean site a couple months ago. I'll look into it.

@ BBT - Nah. I've seen those, too skinny and small. Plus Roote's only has one pickup. Which would definetly mess with the overall tonal capabilities.

I've got a Dean bass. It's a higher end model with active electronics. It plays very nice and has a good tone but active pre-amp is crap. I'm going to make it passive or trade it for a decent MIM Fender bass.

Yeah, for bass I'd have to go with Fender. Heard 'em before. Pretty awsome. BTW, does anyone have a link to that DBZ Guitar's site?

My boss went to NAMM, he was telling me about different companies he was going to talk to about carrying their products. One of which was DBZ guitars. I don't know how he heard about them though.

I don't know if they have prices out yet. I've heard that they will be sold from $300 or so to the multiple thousands ($1000+), but I'm not sure if that is true or not.
