So I was just wondering, what do you use to surf the internet and play your music?
I just downloaded something called Safari, made by Apple, and it seems pretty good so far. I use iMesh to download and play my music, that is okay for play, but it is better for downloading.
What are the best ones to use? Speed, security, feature, etc.
Can you recommend some to me please? I do really like iTunes but that only plays music. |

I use Firefox for my browser. It tends to be a little more stable than Explorer and is open-source, allowing for mods and what-not. I just use Windows Media Player to listen to music. |

one and only: Winamp for playback.
for surfing I usually use Firefox too, cuz its security. But ive noticed when you have your computer well firewalled and anti-spyware/virus softwares work right, explorer works as well. |

Do it show what name virus have? And what virus software you got? Usually when you scan your computer with anti-virus softwares, they remove them. |

@Empirism:
The virus name is JAVA something. The software I use is called CA security center and yea I thought it would clean the virus also but when I do a scan it shows 1 infected and 0 cleaned. I had McAfee and then dropped it for the software I am using now because it was free from my ISP. Smart huh? |

Hmm, sounds like you have java cache virus. Try this:
1. From the Start button, click Settings - Control Panel
2. In the Control Panel, open the "Java Plug-in Control Panel"
3. Select the Cache Tab
4. Click the Clear button inside the Cache Tab, which will clear your JRE cache directory
if you have another version, then in control panel open java named icon
that opens java control panel for you and there in general tab is delete temporary internet files. Delete all, boot your computer and scan your computer again. This could be good to do without an network connection. |

For some reason my FireFox cookies ( I think it's the cookies anyways ) are being weird, mainly with this site.
It's like, I log on to here, and it has the blue folder, but I click it and there are no new posts o.O I don't know why either
EDIT: Also, how is the Opera browser? |

I use Internet Explorer 7, and Windows Media Player 11. I also use iTunes, but that is just to sync my iPod. |

I am using Firefox now, but I also use Safari when I am on the Mac.
I use iTunes on Mac, but I don't really have a music player on my PC, since my iPod is formatted for Mac. |

I don't know why so many people prefer iTunes to Windows Media Player. I have both and I think WMP has a much better layout. |

I like WMP's layout too, bhs. I never use iTunes unless I'm syncing my iPod, and would never use it if I had a non-Apple mp3 player. |

I like iTunes, especially becase of the Equalizer in it.
I find it easier to sort my music etc. and since I don't have an MP3 player (I use a goddamn PSP!) I just make a playlist and then drag and drop to the removable disk. But I stopped using iTunes.. for me it's iMesh, I guess I like it cause you can download music and listen it right from the program. |

WMP has an equalizer too. Go to View -> Enhancements -> Graphic Equalizer. There is also this thing called SRS Wow Effects which boosts the bass through the ceiling! |

Is the P2P program Ares any good?
Also,
Everytime I come on this site things are weird,
The folder will be blue, yet there are no new posts. What gives? How can I make it normal (blue folder only when there are posts)?
It is kinda annoying clicking every single blue one for no reason. |

yea I have the same problem. Also if someone posts while I am in another thread, it doesn't show the blue folder when I go back to the main page. |

^ Well I do know that that is because our computers and the server need time to like, process it, and to update etc.
But I wanna know what's up with the folders always being blue.. (It's not every one but it's most) |
