okay well i was using the arpeggio thing on this site, but they mostly sounded really bad... seeing i dont know what add9, 7sus4, dim7, etc is i cant find anything that sounds right. anyone recommend some good ones? |

Try minor ones try starting minor diads and moving on to a root five minor chord shape. LOL thats about all I know about arpeggios. |

the ones i know are the ones that are like E, Em, and C chords.. thats all =p |

Me too Im not too fond of arpeggios and sweep picking. I dont think they sound too awesome. I'd rather play the same bonehead Thrash pentatonics and minor scales. |

I dig sweep arpeggios but they have ot be the right ones and there are rules to how to make one sound better but I stray away generally |

Well... I find that the basic major and Minor ones are the best. And when you get into them "fancy chords", you have to ask yourself, do those sound good as a chord in the first place? I would say no, if I turn my overdrive, then they sound better. But still, allot of them only fit in some random place. More then anything though, I use that tool to find different places to play the arpeggios on the fret board.
Not really sure what to say though... Other then, if you stay on the higher strings it sounds better if your not god at them... :P |
