Alright, when I have my line 6 out by itself (not plugged into my 100 watt kustom) it has a much different tone than when it is plugged in... How can I keep the tone that my line 6 has when it is plugged in ?
I seemed to get sorta close, but not quite there.

Also a small question:
Is there anything you can get that you plug into your amps output, then you put a patch cord in for your guitar, then another for like a friends guitar ? Like it makes your amp have 2 inputs even though it originally has one ? Or even a pedal like that or something ?

the thing about the amp: my friend had it set up in a way no 1 else would.... since the amp was like 2 speaker my guitar comes out 1 his comes out other...he did somthing with the wireing on both the amp and pedal.. wouldnt make any sense to have 2 guitars on 1 amp..that would sound horrible lol. TO answer the question..ur not gona find tht in stores unless u get some technical geek like my friend to fix it up 4 u so...no ur not gona get 2 guitars on 1 amp

NEVER PLUG YOUR GUITAR INTO YOUR AMPS OUTPUT!!!! If your amp doesnt have two inputs, you buy pedals for that, you can also buy adapters (splitters).

like GS said you can get an y splitter to turn one input into two.
follow this link it might be something that you can use to use two guitars on one amp. maybe some others can look at it too, to much sure i am not steering ya wrong.

Splitters, that's what I was talking about, I wasn't sure if you could get them or not for guitars... I only knew you could get MP3 Earphone Splitters lol.

I didn't laugh, the effects are like, the different sounds your amp can make. I can make a recording or something with my sounds and post it here. An effect is like, not necessarily changes the sound of your clean/distortion, it just adds like an extra "feature" or add-on to your sound. Like a flange is an effect that kinda sounds like jet planes flying. I think is aka a "Jetter" effect. Go to the store and find a pedal like that and you will see what I mean.

Well some pedals are for adding new things to your sound and some are for tweaking your sound. You get a few for other stuff but that's the basic idea.
