Best ways to execute the perfect Pinch Harmonic

Alright, so I seem to have gotten myself addicting to making bigass squealing pinch harmonics and using them excessively as quick fills for metal songs.

They are fun to do and I really like the sound (especially when you do one on the 3rd string because of it's thickness.) Some frets give a better PH sound than others. But I am not worried about that.

What I am looking for are some of the best ways you can guarantee a perfect PH almost every time you do it.

Any suggestions ?

haha...thats exactly what i was gonna say doz. pinches are all about feel. they sound different depending on where you play them, both with your picking hand and your fretting hand. every little tiny variation of your playing style will your pinches sound different. you just have to find the sweet spots that makes the best sound to you.

turn up the volume and tone potentiometers on your guitar

here's a little practice thing you can do: start with pinches where you are picking really close to the bridge and slowly move your picking hand closer to the neck-doing pinches the whole time...all the while fretting the same note...this'll give you an idea of all the sounds you can get.
