I did a biography on Nikki Sixx, dude he snorted ants with Ozzy. He hates his dad he never even knew him and his mom would always leave him with his grandparents. He had a bad childhood dude I swear if I was him... man.

tAUG, I think I know what you're saying...

tAUG says:

Most rock stars like ALWAYS are on drugs and stuff.
I don't really know if you could blame the parents, or being famous.
But... You never know...

How about lack of self control?

Nah, but seriously, but I don't reckon it's easy to pin point reasons why people get into it. Like, would he do it if he didn't have the money and it wasn't convenient? And would he do it if he didn't need an escape of some sort because his life was fine?

It's probably because of both reasons.

Good point.
I don't find drugs make you cool, I think they are stupid.
Sometimes you need them actually, there is a guy that needs Marijuana cause he has like some kind of like twitching thing or something.

Some people use it to escape or get tripped out and stuff. Guess we'd have to ask Nikki ourselves...

He has a Myspace you can ask him there. Don't think he would appreciate it but you could. I don't have a myspace or anything just heard on an interview.

I have to agree with Doz,self control is the key, when i used to play at this place outside of Greensburg back stage there was allways a pile of coke that you could do as much as you wanted ,but that was the 80's and I'm sure its still going on.Parents, childhood is a lame excuse....remember Nacy Regan....LMAO just say NO!....ya right!
