Didnt really shred and messed up quite a bit but the sound of this guitar is amazing.

A fender Strat is good for shredding, but for heavy rythem I use a BC rich N.J series with EMG 83s. |

I totally agree with that. I've recently noticed that regular frets on a strat are good for shredding too. |
