So I ended up selling the Epi on eBay for $425. Not too shabby. I endedup essentially trading it for the Fender MIM Strat and about $50 after fees in my pocket! However, shipping has been a nightmare. I wasn't thrilled about shipping the guitar to begin with, as I am just paranoid about the guitar being damaged in transit somehow. Turns out, this buyer hasn't updated their PayPal address in almost 2 years!! It is now being returned to me tomorrow. I have to resend it, this time to the correct address. Buyer will clearly have to ship me the money to cover this since this is his error and not mine, so I am not worried about the money. However, this means it now has a completely needless trip from North Carolina, 800 miles up to Michigan, and then back to me, where it risks damage. Now I packed it as well as I possibly could have, so it should be okay, but people can be quite careless here with handling packages. I will be more at ease once this guitar reaches its destination. Ugh, I don't understand how people can just click so quickly through pages on the net and not verify their own address. It pops right up on the screen when paying for an item through PayPal! /end rant |
