How To Improve Your Singing

This is all one mans voice. nothing is pitch shifted and with the exception of a little reverb no other effects are used. study this guy if you want to improve your technique

BBT: this guy is hugely awesome and his range is just incredible, i aspire to be able to visualize and create music as fluidly as him... i mean how can he pull off those instant interval jumps from low to high and back...? the skill and control involved are astounding.

Nullnaught: if you can pick up and play a guitar you can carry a tune, you just need to get your voice caught up with your ear and your fingers.

i totaly dont understand. I really dont think playing a guitar makes you good at singing. Or able to carry a tune with your voice.

think of it this way: if you are able to hear the progression in your head and you have been able to teach your fingers how to recreate that music in real time then what is stopping you from using the same or a similar process for your voice.... in other words playing guitar doesn't necessarily make you able to sing but it gives you a step up against someone who doesn't play an instrument
