Is there a certain way of writing a song and playing a guitar with the song? |

well no,but you could practice by playing one or two chords in a up and down strum while singing. |

Jessica, your question isn't clear. In order not to write just that I will venture a comment. To dovetail on gshred's idea; you can strum a chord (what chords have you learned yet?) and then sing a line, then strum a chord and then sing a line. If you do this enough times you will begin to get the singing and the strumming closer together.
Will you let us know what you have leaned so far and re-phrase the question. |

I was trying to ask I was goofing off one day and played the G chord and something else I'm not sure about and I think it was G6 and it sounded kinda cool. so I was wondering if you write a song can you also make up your own song on the guitar? I know A and G for sure and I think others to but I really don't know if I am doing them right. |

Yeah just play some chords that you know and sing along! sometimes you gotta think of the right words, sometimes if you just start singing the first thing that comes to your head works. It's awesome that you're experimenting with chords, just take chords you know and play with them a bit and you can get totally different sounds, like a G to a G6, a very simple change, but with a big effect. |
