lets say you put a capo on the 1st fret. Then you play all the open
chords as if your in the key of C Major. Does that mean your in the key of D flat now?

Yup, C# or Db, either way. you have moved ALL your notes up a half step.

@nullnaught When I first started to understand this it took me back a step, Sadly I guess the jock learn 4 chords comes from. A Capo can be a powerful tool if used right.

I don't know why but you would ever need more then one or two, but this guy used FIVE!
