WOW. Saw phish yesturday... WOW. all i was saying was wow after. totally life changing. serious awesomeness. wow. it was so insane. did anyone else see phish on their tour? WOW seriously. i was just like stunned and wowed... and i saw them b4...

Cool EMB. I havent had the chance to see them yet. I love Phish. They remind me of a modern day Steely Dan mixed with The Greatful Dead. High quality musicianship and a lot of fun! If you like Phish you will love Umphrey's McGee. Check them out fo sho!

any otheer jam bands like phish or the grateful dead i should know about?

The only one I can think of is Garaj Mahal. Awesome musicians! Fareed Haque is a fantastic guitar player. They are more on the fusion, jazz side of things but play everything! They are always touring and have a lot of free music and concerts to download for free like the other jam bands. Knowing your varied tastes in music I think you'll like these guys.

The old one are the Allman Brothers, Blind Faith, bands like that.

I just heard a song at lunch from God Street Wine on Sirius radio called Princess Henrietta. it sounded kinda like a jam band song so I came back to check em out and they are! You might like them. Knowing you, you probably heard of them already;)

Check out Blues Traveler, I was a show when the singer was fat and holy cow man did they jam. not so sure anymore.
