few things honestly, im not usually one to critique harsh but you have easy potential so take it more as a complement...
1) work on your bends, even though its a soulful solo and bends are slow work on getting them at the pitch faster, you may have done it just for this but always get those bend up in pitch.
2)work on your vibrato, its there, just a bit shakey no pun intended :)
3)your tempo is a bit off when you play the faster parts, may be thaty it was a quick take and doesnt matter but nail those things down like a rusty nail in a floorboard.
i liked it though. contained right notes and accutare techincal playing! :) |

It is pretty digital, as much as I hate to say it.
Fender Frontman 212R, Epi Les Paul. Recorded through an MP3 player.
I'm trying to save up for a Marshall MA100 half stack, but it's more like a wish, as well as a Gibson, because I can't find a job.
Anyway, to the playing, after listening back myself, I can hear everything you said. Quite frankly, it surprises me. It feels like I have a better ear than I do fingers. I'm going to work on it. Thanks.

Nah, I've heard this Marshall. Plus, that IS saving up for me lol.
Anyway, I re-uploaded a different version. Probably not much difference, but check it out. It's on the widget up there. ^^ |

defintaly sounds better, i think if you wanted a less digital sound use your treble pickup, i know slash uses his rhtyhm but the digitalness get rediculous on the rhythm. defintalty sounded better.
try it with a metranome, your timing/tempo is still off, you speed up and slow down in various places. try to stay the same. |

Yeah, I tried that too. It sounded too tinny still. Plus the tone knobs on Epi's sucks. It's either full tone, or none, and there's not much distinguishable in-between. That's what I've heard from it anyway.
And for timing, eh. I don't really think too much about that being I didn't record with anything to keep beat. When I'm with a drummer I can though. :P |
