Hi all. Didn't know where to post this. Hopefully I was s'posed to put it here.
Ok, I just got an electric guitar for my birthday. When I tried to tune it, both of my tuners (the one I had and the one it came with) thought the low E string was a D string. I know it couldnt be just that badly out of tune, so what could the problem be? |

Crappy tuner or crappy pickups. Bad tuners wont pick up every sound that comes out of your guitar and bad pickups won't have a high enough output to produce the full tonal quality of the notes you play.
I would learn to tune by ear if you are playing alone or just jamming.
Rock on! |

Well the tuner that came with its a piece of junk according to the online reviews, but the one I already had is supposed to be really good. Not sure about the pickups, tho. I'll look into it |

@EMB I don't have much of an ear for tuning yet (only been playin half a year or so) but it only sounds a little out of tune, from my little experience on the subject |
