Moneyz question

1. can anybody estimate the cost of a custom shop jackson? none of the Rhoads have 24 frets.

2. how much would a Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier head and 100 watt cab cost?

at least 2000 for the amp, maybe 1600 used if your lucky. maybe more if i remember right.

as for the jackson thats a tough call. ebay is great for the most part on that part, but im sure itll be a few sly thousand.

EDIT: I forgot you're Canadian. I meant in U.S. dollars, I think it would be a few hundred more up there. I forget the exchange rate.

by the looks of it to buy both of those things would ring up to $4000 - $5000. looks like ill have to save up for awhile, which really sucks cuz my guitar isnt in that good of shape so i need a higher level guitar, and Jacksons are soooooo darn expensive, and ontop of that the ones i like only have 22 frets. so i need a custom built one =\

why do you need more than 22 frets?

check out a jackson dinky. you can get a decent one for maybe 1200 canadian, (i got mine 800 american) it has 24 frets, and its fun to play. just a suggestion.

I would recommend any of the C-1s made by Schecter, but they are Strat-shaped. I absolutely love my C-1 Classic and for their price, 700-750 USD, their quality is unbelievable.

how nice are the necks on those? are they fairly thin? in they reviews i read on musiciansfriend i didnt see any comments on the necks

It's definitely thin enough for me, but I have pretty big hands. I think it is thin in actuality, now that I think about; I've taught girls to play on it, and they didn't seem to have any (additional) trouble. Regardless of the thickness, it plays like butter. I'm almost to the point where I hate to play other people's guitars because the necks feel like they're made of sandpaper.
