But to a serious matter how is this happenng?
Anyone had similar experiences?

And could you give me some advice on working it i cant seem to get the tone i want and i dont understand what the amp knob does. It just has a list of options like: Dlx Plxi Brit can someone explain this please.

lol this happened to a friend of mine, very funny when it did. he started playing and it was liek a couple days from holloween, hes playing it pretty loud, he stops and like 2 secs later, when hes going to turn the voume down, this huge scream comes, it was one of the funniest things. i think your picking up a radio or tv station, thats what he was getting, idk how to fix it.

I could mean a lot of things. I had an old amp that did the same thing and the reason was that the ground cable came disconnected. It also explains why i was getting shocked by my PA system when i steped to the mike. It could be the amp, the guitar or the cord. you will have to trouble shoot that.

the guitar chord acts like an AM antennae, and your amps circuitry kind of acts like a radio. it happened to me once.

It's happened to me before, but I had already heard about it though so I wasn't surprised. You can hear the effect at the end of "Sleep Now In The Fire" by RATM.

As for the amp knob, that'll give you access to different amp models. A lot of modern amps have it built in, and it means you can play different styles of music, requiring different types of distortion, from the same amp. Do you have the instruction manual? That will explain what each amp model is based on and what it's useful for.

If not then if you go to the manufacturer's website then you can probably download instructions in a .pdf format.

What kind of tone are you looking for?
