The result I'm looking for is kinda like a muted wah effect. It kinda sounds like, "Waka waka". I think Slash used it in "Sweet Child O'Mine". You can hear it during the "Where do we go.....where do we go now?" pause during the song.

Its just a muted Wah sound out of a Marshall using a Gibson Les Paul, no other pedals but a crybaby is what he used if I remember correctly.
So you need - A Les Paul, a Crybaby, and a Marshall.....uhhmmmmm Christmas is next month if that helps? |

Just had a look at 'Sweet child....' on utube. The 'waka-waka' sound is created when he depresses his cry baby over timing strokes. |

You can get that tone without a Gibson LP or a Marshall half stack thought it will sound different. try using a guitar with humbuckers and a high gain amp settings but the wah is a must.
Wah's are fun to play with but though to master. |
