hey what key is hay burner in and what scales would go good over it? i need it for tonite so dont just say figure it out b.c i cant. |

Well, the one I'm listening to is in the key of F, and I'm pretty sure they're emphasizing over A# (technically Bb) Mixolydian or C minor. |

so could i use a aeolian? wut bout pentatonic? w8 so i could also use gm frigian/ inside aeolian? or b flat maj frigian inside aeolian? |

No, if you want to use aeolian, you'll need to use it in C. Aeolian is the minor scale. Pentatonics would work nicely over the C. Remember that Phrygian is in itself a different scale. But could also be used over the C if you intend to add passing notes. It wouldn't be used over F because the F would be the major scale.
F - Major - Major
Gm - Dorian - Minor
Am - Phrygian - Minor
Bb - Lydian - Major
C - Mixolydian - Major
Dm - Aeolian (minor) - Minor
E dim - Locrian - Diminished |
