what does this help you with and is it worth learning, looks intresting but i might already know the majority of it.?

It does help and it is good to learn. I have fretboard road maps and thats how I learned it.

Basicly you learn the scales in these little boxs, then you apply diffrent chords in those boxes as well.

the biggest thing you have overcome is you start to see the fretboard in little boxes and not the notes.

just make sure you concentrate on the notes of the scale your playing and not just the box's.

That guy does some good videos on YouTube as well. I'm not sure what his username is, probably search for "justin guitar" I guess.

I think all of the videos you are seeing on YouTube are the videos for his website. I think he uses YouTube as a place to store the videos and links to them from his "lessons". anyway it works nicely because he explains something in print and then shows you in a video.
