I know its a little odd but I thought it would be interesting
to see what you keep your axe in... When I'm not playing I lay my axe to rest in these...
I built these for my girlfriends guitars,
The one with the red crushed velvet is holding her Fender signed by Jakob Dylan (Wallflowers). The one with the purple crushed velvet holds her B.C.Rich.
They are a bit on the heavy side at 50lb with out the guitar and other stuff in them, I use as more of a display case. They have 5 storage compartments that are hidden under the guitar. They are wrapped in black vinyl. And on the inside, padded and wrapped in crushed velvet. And I'm currently building one with white vinyl, gold trim and satin inside with a glass top etched with a rose pattern for my next guitar or my Jackson RR concept.

I keep mine on stands in my room most of the time. I just have gig bags when I transport them. I'll probably get a hard case of some sort when I get a new guitar.
But the cases you made are really nice! |
