As you know, my distortion sucks & I complain about it a lot.
So I decided to learn Guns n Roses' "Used To Love Her" because it is acoustic (or clean if you want)

So,
Are there any good songs I should learn that have some nice chord progressions and are clean or acoustic all the way through? Don't Pick It Up by The Offspring seems to have a cool sound and sounds like it's clean.

I'll probably get some shit for this one but I do like green Day's "Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)" .. Really nice song and cool to play. Rise Against's "Swing Life Away" is good. Guns n Roses' *You're Crazy (LP Version)" .. But I can't think of any other good clean or acoustic songs.

you can try anything by Santana he generally strays away from using any effects and also Misirlou by Dick Dale is just a tremolo picked fast clean track that you should prolly be able to play it can also be spelled as Miserlou

definatly try sultans of swing by dire straits. its pretty hard, the 2nd solo is even harder. thew beginning of one by metallica is clean. all rhcp stuff is basicly distortion free. u can play pink floyd w/o distortion, but doesnt sound as good. also over the hills and far away by led zepp is good, and staairway to heaven.

If you want some awesome acoustic, look up Tommy Emmanuel
Though, those songs take some radical fingerpicking
