Like a noise gate pedal ?
Cause if I plug my Line 6 Spider III 30 into my Kustom (no clue what model it is) but it will go a lot louder because the Kustom is 100 watts. But the flaw is that there is a bad sorta "wshhhhhhhhhhhhh" noise in it.
Is there like some sort of noise gate or something I can apply to it to fix this ? or something maybe not even a pedal ? and how much would it be ?

Umm
Some kind of I think DigiFLEX (yes i am sure it is not digitech) They have the black cap type things on them. I use these as the guitar-to-preamp input

And some kind of cord that (can't remember what it is called) with silver-chrome ends that you can un-screw and poke around inside. I use this as the preamp-to-100watt amp

EDIT: I just found my other digiflex....
And it seems to only be the Kustom (100watt) when it is at max volume with the line 6 30 watt at about level 3 (out of 11) and it is really noticeable with the trebs right up there

Looks like I can save myself some money - I figured out that if I turn the treble down on the big amp, and the treble up on the preamp, it works better. And the volume does not matter (:

i guess it just depends on how much of a tone monger you are...as for me-my tone has to be perfect or I cant use it.

Same here, I finally just found a great tone for my heavy metal playing.
