How do I play a Bb note and what does the 2 on top of some of the notes mean?? Example C2.... is this the same as Csus?

Bb is the same note as A#. You can play it on the 1st fret of the 5th string, amongst other places. Csus isn't actually a chord - it's either Csus2 or Csus4. Csus2 is C, D, G and Csus4 is C, F, G. You can also add the 7th to make C7sus4 etc. I suppose C2 could be a shorthand way of writing Csus2. If it's from an internet tab then it'll be cool if you posted the link so we could see it. :) |

I know it's crazy but when a chord just has 'sus' written after it, it is the traditional longhand way of writing 'sus4'. Kinda like writing Gmaj when talking about a G chord.

C2 could also be a way of writing Cadd2, in which case the third wouldn't be suspended.
