i was noodling around with my "method" and i found a nice sounding arpeggio....just dont know what it is

now it sounds like its from the diminished scale, the notes that i play "fit" perfectly in that scale but im not exactly sure what to call it

E|------------------10-14-16-| E|---------------------14-16-|
B|---------------12----------| B|------------------15-------|
G|---------11-13-------------| G|---------11-13-16----------|
D|------12-------------------| OR D|------12-------------------|
A|11-14----------------------| A|11-14----------------------|
E|---------------------------| E|---------------------------|

now, i would go ahead and say it was a half diminished...min7b5 i think...because of the 11 on the D string which means its G# B D F# as opposed to G# B D F

Yeah man, it's an Abmin7b5. Here's the same with a 6th string root

e------------------4-7--
B----------------7------
G------------4-7--------
D--------4-6------------
A------5----------------
E--4-7------------------

It's from the Ab Locrian scale and plays well with any of the AMaj7 Diatonics.
