Elliott Again... Comander of...... blah blah blah and such and such... Anyway my second part is ive reached a sort of plateu in my playing. Where i have melodies in my head, but i find it either very hard to get it started (what i mean is if someone plays one line, i can think of many other killer lines after but not really the first) And i have a hard time tapping into the melodic stuff, have my lines make sense like a sentance does, and have they say something, as opposed to me just looking at the frrtboard, seeing all possible diatonic notes, out of key notes and messing around. Granted im realistic, i have very good lines and solos but for me in my mind theyre random, im not always playing the lines i hear in my head, So my question is how do you play the lines you hear in your head better and transfer your ideas to lines on the guitar. Second is sometimes i cant figure out lines, how can i start off just to get a start and continue from there... All help helps, thanks, Elliott... And if you want help with stuff pretaining to this feel free to add your problems and how you got through it and such. |
