I was looking through some of these guitar technique books at the local guitar center, I was wondering if they are really that helpful. Which ones do you reccomend? |

I am sure some are really good and some suck. This answer is probably not what you want to hear, but the answer is that it probably depends on the book. I bought an intro to jazz book from GC written by Jody Fisher that I am finding to be very helpful to me with respect to learning music in general and not specifically jazz. Sorry I cannot be of more help. My experience though is that the few books I have purchased to help me learn guitar have been pretty helpful. |
