Whats a Good, Simple Recording Software?

All i need to do is record a main track and overdub what i need later. I already have a full band, i don't need virtual instruments or anything like that. Does anybody know a simple recording software that does just that... record? I'm using Kristal right now but its slow and always off beat, I'm hoping to find something thats as simple and straight forward as Kristal but fine tuned. every time i look for recording software, its always like $300 because its packed with things that i know I'm not going to use.
