yes the famed and legendary (sarcasm) boss overdrive pedal. i only have a distortion pedal and i'm wondering if it's worth $20 bucks to get this until i can save up for a nicer overdrive.
thanks |

I'd take it right away if it was $20. Actually, if you can find two of them for that price you should buy one for me and send it to me and I'd pay you in a minute. Seriously. LOL! |

My experience with BOSS distortions and/or overdrives is that they'll make a very limited range of sounds, and they'll usually sound pretty thin.
The one time i played a Boss overdrive pedal, I had a whole ton of terrible feedback come right back at me. I don't know if that was the fault of the pedal, or if there was in issue somewhere else in the chain.
For $20? Do it! But don't expect to sound super. |

I would, then buy yourself a soldering iron and pick up the keeley mod for it. Opens up a whole new world. |
