new ipod

hi people's i just got a new ipod after i put my old one through the wash by accident. its the ipod with the camera in it and ive recorded some stuff with it and its a pretty decent camera. so heres my question. how do i get the videos off the ipod and onto the computer? would any1 here know? ive hooked it up and messed around with it but i have no idea

When you hooked it up to your PC, did it install it's drivers?

Most times when you hook up devices such as MP3 players, Cell phones, etc. the device will come up as a removable storage device. Go to "My Computer", and look for such a device.

i did that and then there were a couple folders and one of them said "recordings" and i opened it and nothing was in it. it confused me

Also, if you'd like, there's a program you can download called "Teamviewer" which, with your supervision, allows me to connect to your PC and see what's going on. Basically, it's a remote-assistance program.
