Hey hey,
Well now on both my guitar's the Strap Button screws have completely ***ed the threading in the wood so they just pull right out and cause my guitars to hit the floor, what is the best way to fill and redrill the holes? I've been told to use a matchstick but I'm competely lost on what todo -.-
You advices and step-by-step guides please?

I've used wood putty and toothpicks to fill in hole. first use the tooth picks to push the putty down in to the hole as much as possoble.
Wait for for a day or two and then re-drill the holes ans screw in the buttons.
It may also be a good operturny to replace the buttons. I used to use some dunlop locking strap buttons. they were pretty sweet. |
