I have been messing around with open G tuning the over day. I have a slide and have been just doing simple 1, 4, 5, slides without much "flare". Does anyone know any sweet licks or songs in open G?

That song is in open G? I always play it in standard tuning.

A lot of Rolling Stones songs are in open tunings, you could always check those out.

Not sure if you are into the style or not, but Bohemian Like You by the Dandy Warhols is good too.

I'm pretty certain Brown Sugar by the Stones is in open G tuning.

I like that Dandy Warhols song thanks. The Stones have a lot of stuff in open G that I have been looking into.

This site has some pretty cool slide stuff to look at. The first part of the lesson is in standard and the second is in Open G. The only problem is that it doesn't have sound clips for the open G stuff like it does for standard, but it's still worth a look.
