hey, i hope someone can answer this one
which scale would you say this is? i'd say it's A aeolyan (minor), VI DEGREE of Cmaj (no flats nor sharps whatsoever)
HOWEVER:
-in the first couple of meters it seems to resolve in e (was that a stoopid comment?)
- it has a sharped g for Emaj (well, that's not surprising in a tonal system)
forgive my bad english, hope i've made myself understood
thanks |

It could be A Harmonic Minor. |

That looks like a fairly solid A natural minor scale to me. As GRX said, the presence of the G# would certainly also suggest A harmonic minor, but these two scales are fairly interchangeable, particularly at cadence points where it's quite common to use the raised 7th to add to the tension. The fact that there is a Bdim chord roots the key quite firmly in Am, and don't worry about the Emaj chord not being part of Am; it's simply been borrowed from the parallel major key of Amaj (the E chord is chord V in Amaj) for greater harmonic possibilities.
