Ready... Are you sure? Okay:
drrrrrrrrrrrrr CSH! What amp would you recommend for me? Of course, amp as soo cheap as you know. I don't like to play loud, but when I do, i like a good tone.
I need an upgrade from a Peavey Rage 158 15 Watt.
i can probably sell my old amps. I have three amps.

You could look into a good cab and head and a good pedal or two, that's what I did:

Godin > DigiTech Grunge > Epiphone Head/Cab

I get a pretty sick tone when I play loud, but when you have your Low's up a lot when you're playing loud, it creates a lot more work for the speaker, so turn your lows down. That's what the guy from L&M said to me, and he said that when the volume is turned up on the amp/pedal that is gonna create more low frequencies (sp?) anyways.

The Peavey 5150 is supposed to be good for metal, but I'm not sure if they're in production anymore. I know you can find them for $500-600 used.

Yeah I would go with the vox too. I have not herd anything bad about the vox but lots of people don't like the line 6's.

The Vox mod amps also just came out with a high gain version which might fit you better.

I wonder how many people have actually played a Line 6 and how many just decide they don't like them because their friend said he doesn't. They're a rock solid amp. They don't sound like a tube amp, for a good reason, they're not. They are, however, very versatile and well built solid state amps.

oh I feel stupid. I knew Fender made amps, but I thought he meant change guitars.
I have a pedal already. It's the DigiTech Metal Master. Did I not specify about that?
