Hey, you can put a single coil with the size of a humbucker, change the pickups or heck if the ones that the guitar have that can be combined with coil spliting with push-pull pots. With this configuration you can get a sound very similar to a single coil with a humbucker. |

What you got is a 'humbucker' guitar there mate, normally you can get push-pull knobs that split your humbuckers so they can become 'virtual' single-coil pick-ups.
But if you really want the sound it is best to get a Stratocaster and if you can get the Fender, I use a Squire it's not bad but I've played alot where they don't even touch the Fender quaility... |

Coil tapping seems to be the way to go. You can have your guitar set-up that you can pull your tone or volume knobs and it will turn off half of the humbucker so you get a single coil sound.
Or if you choose to get a new guitar, you could get a Fender like the Lonestar Strat which has a 'bucker in the bridge all ready, and has single coils in the neck and middle positions. |

when i get enough money and approval to get a new geetah it would be a fender and it would be in about a year. i should prob hold off on it for i will be dissapointed with it when i get the new geetah. |
