Hello!
I'm a beginner and I'm going crazy these days. I can't find any "readable" tabs about medieval music: most of them are sheets or numbers, I'm looking for notes (A B C D E F G) so I can understand them.
I'd like some medieval Tavern / Inn songs that are are easy... something "bardish"... can someone help me?
Thank you! |

Helloes and welcome to the forums :) Imo its cool, if you know already what you want to play. First Ill suggest you to check out if you dont know already the band Blackmore's night. Its great and I believe what you are looking for, Loreena McKennitt is also you want to look for.
Allright, tabs I cant provide to you, but you should focus for learning chords and arpeggio technique, theres plenty instruction videos on those in youtube forexample.
When you find song you like from those artist forexample, visit this site https://play.riffstation.com/ And check if they are found from there. there are few blackmores night atleast.
But like J.R.M pointed out, those could be bad idea to start learning. First thing you should focus is that you can play chords, both open and barre chords. Then move to music theory part (believe me, when it comes to lead forexample, its most important when aimed for real guitar playing)
Happy training and hope this helps
-Cheers
