Hey cool dudes where are you ? , come on everyone tell me what is the song or cover you have been learning lately , Me this days im working on metallica fade to black and when im done from it i will post it here first

Im working on Jonny Cash's version of Hurt. I love it and its sooooo simple.

I was doing the Johnny Cash verion at work last month. I like that it is easy and gives you lots of room to work on the emoting pain into the singing.

I wrote a song the other night, off the cuff. I decided I liked it so I got a recorder and tried to re-create it. I kept doing it over and over with slightly different lyrics. Now I am working on listening to to recordings and writing down the lyrics so I can figure out which ones work better and which I should abandon.

The act of listening to myself play and sing over and over has given me great insight into how bad or good I am. My only problem is there are a couple of things that totally sucked, but now that I've heard them so much I'm used to them...argh...and they're stuck in my head.

@TGG i hope you will post it here when you are done from it, so we can listen to it


@TSK come on man post them here and we can tell you which lyrics fit the song , as i guess you wont figure it out alone as you are used to them when you listen to them again and again you will be more confused and i do really think that if the lyrics carry the same tone or the same way of singing it so the tone won't matter but its meaning is the point , so you can post the lyrics only or send it to me as a message and i will gladely tell you my opinion
