hello & slide guitar

hello everyone, I just started using this site and I think it's great.
just a question: does anybody know a cool riff or lick using a slide in just normal tuning. I've been thinking alot and I can find one using an open chord, but not in EADGBE.

Are you using a real slide guitar (high action), or just a normal guitar with a slider?

Look at any song, if you can get to the point of playing slide as well as playing normally you will be well on your way to being a master slide guitarist.

If you need a good starting place try looking at Blues. Anything with chords is going to be hard but there are ways around them. Thats why most songs on slide are in open tuning. Good way around this is holding the slider on your pinky, if your playing with a normal guitar. Have fun.

I use a normal guitar with a slider by the way and combining that with normal playing is indeed quite a struggle, but I think I'll manage.
