i'm thinking about buying the vox amp as an upgrade from my 15w g-dec jr. i want a straight/clean amp (as opposed to the modeling g-dec), i want something more powerful (so it's cleaner/clearer at similar volume as the small amp), i want something with multiple channels and ideally a footswitch, and i want something cheap.

what do you guys think? just curious. unless i get a resounding "this amp sucks" or "you can get better for the money" i'm going to buy it anyway.

Joined: 20 Sep 2009 United States Karma : 9 | no i just want to buy a used straight amp that is larger and a little more powerful than my 15w 1x8 modeling amp. i don't want the "ferrari" of amps for $100. i want an amp that might run $200-300 new a few years ago for $100-150.
so i don't get it. is this amp at a severely discounted price or something? i couldn't find the exact model new listed on any retailer's website, but i've seen a few similar 30w 1x10" vox amps on guitar center's website for about $200-300. i just don't know what to look for in model numbers and features.
