but first,I need an idea of what to play.I feel like i need some pointers on my techniqe, timing and such.I never really cover songs just bits and peices.I always get worried that i won't sound original, but I dont think this would hurt any,so just throw some suggestions in the air of something that would be good for examining my techniqes.it has to be acoustic though because my electrical powered one looks like this.

oh man, this is quite hard to say. I don't know what music you are into? Do you want to play your own song? or a cover? How good are you at fingerpicking? What fingerpicking techniques do you already know?..etc.
If you maybe give some information on that I might have a suggestion for you. If you maybe wanna check out the user "soymartino" on youtube, he's got some pretty cool acoustic fingerpicking covers of popular songs. I think playing one of his more difficult songs could be an option. Chet atkins is also a good option for acoustic stuff and some good fingerpicking. Otherwise just write an own song. |

then learn how to fingerpick, it will enhance your ability to play guitar so much! And it so important to move away from the pick. whatever you do, a cover or your own song, i'd defo try that. |
