a while ago when i first tarted playing i wrote loads of random lead parts for various songs that i never really bothered with untill now when i've been trying to take the lead parts and rewrite them slightly, the only problem is that im used to writing solos etc over the top of already put down rythem so im finding it hard to put any rythem to these already wrote parts, can anyone tell me how i can discover what key, scale etc these lead parts are in?????

If you know how to play them, then most certainly you can figure out what notes you are playing. If you need a little help matching those notes to a scale, post the notes here, or just plug them into the reverse scales tool on this site.

i know the notes just wasn't sure how to find out what scale there in didn't know the site had a reverse scale lol cheers :P
