Shechter Omen 6

am quite low in terms of budget.. so was thinkin of gettin this one.. is it any good?

I got one and the only thing I don't like about it is the pickups other than that it is great for the price

ok.. but actually love playing classic rock and blues.. not really much into metal.. is it still ok to get this guitar? cuz i 've heard that shechters are made for heavy metal bands?

and one more thing.. how's the action with this guitar? does it have any buzzing problems especially on low E and A strings.. i hate that.. really annoying..

I own one also and it is a very good guitar and I did replace the picks with emgs. I also got the omen 7 and it is very nice guitar also.

Yeah, I think it's mainly a metal guitar. You could probably find something better for your taste in the same price range.

What are the necks like on the Omen 6?

I know the one I have has a wider neck then my Ibanze and I put 10's on the omen and it has a real nice feel. Yes I beleive it makes a very good metal guitar but I do like finger picking with it too. It seems to have a deeper tone then the others.
