diminished

Is a m7b5 chord the same as diminished because I look on two different websites to look at the chords in certain keys and the last chord in the sequence is m7b5 on website and diminished on the other?

A m7b5 chord is a "half-diminished" chord, because it contains a diminished 5th (b5), but a minor 7th (b7) rather than a diminished 7th (bb7).

If you ingore the 7th bit at the end, then they are the same diminished triad (1, b3, b5)
