Pinch Harmonics

I have been working on Pinch Harmonics for the past couple of days and I can hit them no problem but adding them while playing is another story. I always have to much pick sticking out when I am playing to get the squeal. Does anyone have any tips or do I just need to learn to use my pick with only the tip sticking out?

It took me a long time to get them right I found I needed to hella dig in with my picking style, and hold very little pick ast the tip of my thumb
