Pedal Set up

hey,

i play a fender telecaster through marshal mg100dfx amp (it has built in effects which i hate). i use 5 boss pedals - digital delay, super chorus, phase shifter, turbo distortion & compression sustainer - all liked with pedal couplers) can anyone tell me the proper/coreect order these pedals should be linked? i get interference when i initiate distortion or sustainer pedals from amp. any idea why? i keep built in effects turned down.
i'd be grateful for any help. considering ditching the combo due to frustration.

omg I have that same amp, I can say that I'm a little less than satisfied with it. It has this terrible hum all the time, + the distortion doesnt do what I want it to. The built in effects are .. mediocre at best. I'm thinking about ditching that piece too in favor of maybe an .. orange ... mm.. orange..

I dont think there is any rule as to the order of the pedals. I uselly put my distortion first (metal zone) then use my other ones. I change them around as to my songs need. I also use my GNX4 after those sometimes. I use my GT-8 most of the time though without the pedals.

it all depends on the sound you want...the best advice i can give is to have as little pedals as possible...you have to keep in mind though, that pedals work very similar to electric current...except its audio current-or digitized sound waves....coming out of your guitar, you have one basic sound-the sound depends on the guitar and that is the only factor...(lets use just a wah and distortion pedal to keep it simple)...from your guitar you can go into the wah then the distortion pedal...by doing this, the wah is ONLY affecting the signal coming straight from the guitar and has no effect on the signal coming from the distortion pedal...basically-you have to think about how much you want your pedals to effect your sound and arrange them in that order.
