crazy Triplets

im trying to learn Randy Rhoads solos. and in the mr. crowley solo he picks these crazy solos ( sounds like tapping) and i was wondering if any of yall know how to do that.

B-------------15----------15....

I would say...

First,
Put your 1st finger on the 11th fret, and yer third on the 15th fret.
Then use your fourth finger on the 17th to pulloff to the 11th.
And use upstrokes, not alt. picking.
That's what it looks like to me.

Then again, someone else probably has got something better

is this the part at the beginning of the 2nd solo? its 17p13 not 17p11. i watched the vid, i saw his motions, im positive.

its all in one stroke, upstrokes. its very hard, iv been working on it acctually

I'd just simplify if I were you and tap the thing but I concurr with GB its a pull off motion pinky ring and index fingers

randy doesnt tab it, but im sure u could.

I would alternate pick, start w/ an upstroke but that's wats easier for me

yeah alternate but down stroke on the E string and up stroke on the A

well i have been tapping it for a while but i want to play it right. and this tab is correct i got it from the tab book. and randy does tap quite a bit. ex. intro to crazy train solo

accually, randy doesnt tab a lot, the intro to crazy train solo is bout the only place.

also the tabs are wrong then, its 17p13. i know for a fact. w8, its the intro with distortion to the 2nd solo? where it goes like tht, then up 2 18, then to 12 and 14 then 17p13?
